There are so many things I am thankful for having it in my life. First I am thankful for having such a perfect family. I have two sweet younger sisters and I am getting them through so well. I have so great and cool parents and I can speak with them about everything. Next I am thankful for having these friends I have. I am thankful that I can live in that house I am living, having all these things I have and so on. I am thankful that I don´t live in war zone and of course very important is that I have good health and I don´t have any bad disease. And I am so happy of having a life that I have. Maria: Books plays an important role in our life, because they take us into a different world of imagination and we also learn a lot from them. That's why I love to read romantic and fantastic books (stories). My favourite books are Francis Scott Fitzgerald's famous novel "The great Gatsby" and "Vampire Academy" Richelle Mead. I like them very much, because they are full of intresting turns in a plot and also relate to contemporary issues. Markus: All my previous travel destinations have been in Europe, but actually i want to go out of my comfort zone. Somewhere where is completely different language, where you have to deal with the culture shock and you have a chance to get amazing experience for a rest of your life. So my three places, where I see myself having a wonderful adventure, would be Peru, Vietnam cave and Cuba. For example there you can visit one of the oldest city Machu Picchu or the biggest cave Son Doong. I hope that one day i can see those sight seeings by my own eye. Julia: Speaking about the countries I would definetely like to visit during my life I would mention in the first place State of Israel.First of all, I am christian not jewish, but I have my own small story with this country which has started a long time ago when I was about 8 years old.I read an exciting detective book about Israel and literally fell in love with this country.Last year I had a chance to meet people from Israel and it was unforgettable time of my life.I love its traditions, appreciate its religion,I love Israeli people, their mentality.I just feel like it's me,like I belong to them,I even had given a hebrew language a try.My aim to achieve is to visit cosmopolitan Tel-Aviv (the second biggest town in Israel, after the capital Jerusalem of course) and of course to visit my friends again. Besides Israel I would like to visit again my lovely United Kingdom, because it's been a while we have not seen.I really do miss crowded busy London full of sightseeings and attractive entertainment in addition to Woking (its a small Town, about 20 minutes from London, there used to live my sister but last year she and her family moved into a new house in the city called Exeter). Also I am really looking forward to my summer holiday in sunny Bulgaria. It is a wonderful country for a summer holidays. It offers hot sunny days ,light blue sea, good hotels and for Estonians very good prices basically on everything. The place I really loved was an ancient old town called Nessebar. It has a lot of magnificent views, different kinds of souvenirs and really good seafood restraunts. In conclusion I would like to say that of course there are more than only three countries I would like to visit but these are now my top destinations. Natali: At first, I am very thankful to my parents, that they gave life for me. Especially i am thankful to my father. He is trying to earn more money specially for me. He is trying to provide me of all that i need or want. He loves me so much. And i love him too. I am very thankful to my father. Marleen: I would definitely visit Greece, simply because I love the Greek culture and a lot of friends of mine have been there...all of them describe it as heavenly! I've seen beautiful pictures taken there which is more than enough to attract me. I'd love to visit the United Arab Emirates to see the luxury lifestyle, expensive cars on the street and the breathtaking skyscrapers. The three places that have impressed me the most are Turkey, Bulgaria and Estonia. Majana: I like to read such kind of books like horror, drama, comedy, fantasy and other books that are interesting for me or are best-sellers.. My favorite books are: "Me before you", "The fault in our stars", "Girl on the train", "Better than perfect", "With love Rosie", "After you", "Searching for Alaska", "Paper towns" and etc. They are my favorite books because they are written easy but have a point and they are still understandable doesn't matter if I'm reading them in Estonian, in Russian or in English. I like to improve my English and Russian with reading books that are like best-seller, because then I understand everything and at the same time I am improving my grammar without learning it and I think it's better to improve foreign language with reading interesting, gripping, astonishing and stupendous book because they don't disappoint you and you can relax and enjoy reading books in foreign language what you are learning without spending time for bone up. Gedili: I love travelling. I would travel the whole world if I had a lot of money. The first place that I would like to go is New-Zealand, because I really like the nature there, especially the mountains and blue water. The next country in my bucket list is America. I would really enjoy the Miami beaches and New York busy streets. Also LA, which would be my favourite city there. And the third country is France, because who wouldn`t like to see the Eiffel Tower and the elegant Palace of Versailles. My three places, that have impressed me most would be Barranco Blanco in Spain - it`s a perfect swimming place with a waterfall, surrounded by mountains ; El Chorro, also in Spain - there used to be a city but it got flooded, and now it`s a lake with clear light blue water ; Santorini, in Greece - I went there with my family when I was about 6-years old and I really liked it because of the mountains, the sea and cool houses. Liidia: Reading books is very important, because this helps people escape from the reality and also improve knowledge and vocabulary. I also like reading, but only when I have free time. I like books about adventures and love. My favorite book is Twilight, it's talks about vampires and love between a vampire and human. I think this is my favorite book, because it's easy to read, it's interesting and talks about teenagers. Also there are a lot adventures. I recommend this book to teenagers.I'm certainly interested in reading. Diana: I am thankful for my family. They are always there to support me. I am thankful for my parents, who taught me to dream and i am thankful for my friends, who shared my dreams. My family have provided me with food, shelter and a method of transportation to go everywhere i need to go. Without them, i would most definitely not to be the person i am today. My parents are central to my life. They have been responsible for feeding me, clothing me and supporting me. My parents are the most important thing i have in my life. Anna: Today, I have a privilege to talk about my favorite thing in the world, book reading. I know it is not the most popular thing to do in our age, comparing to movie watching and playing games. By that I do not want to say anything bad about watching movies or playing games, I just wanted to to say that it is hard to find people to share with, the excitement from the book that was read. I dont want to say that I spent all of my time reading, I obviously have other important stuff to do, during the day. But when I get my hands on some book that I wanted to read for a long time, I can spend hours in my bed reading and not even noticing how hours fly by. I love when a book not only has a storyline, but also teaches you something about life or when author leaves a part of his soul with a reader, when you wish the book never ends and the charecter stays with you for a long time. Recently I started to play with the books ending and sometimes I fantasize how all character would live after it all ended and what alternative ways to end the book. Books told me a lot about people, human behavior , biology, history, technology and science . The last book i read was Oleg Roi "Script of your own mistakes". The book starts with a man who is trying to find the cause of his friends death, gets a a video tape of his own life. Where he can take a look at any vital moment of his past, present and future. I loved the book because the idea got me on a mental hook, i was like fish trying to get away but the book just would let me go. I showed me a lot of behavior patterns of people, and the idea of seeing my own future is not as exiting as it was before I read the book. Because after watching your life through, you still can not change anything, I rather not know and create my own future. With books I dive in to an imaginary environment with fictional problems and situations, but I take out real life lessons and knowledge. |
